A letter from the Director
Hello and welcome!
I am thrilled to be in my 10th year as a director for Indiana and 6th year for Michigan!
I would like to give you a little insight about myself. I have been active in the pageant world for over 40 years! I have been a contestant, title holder, judge, coach, emcee, choreographer and even was Indiana state director for the Distinguished Young Woman Scholarship Program (formerly Jr. Miss) for 18 years.
My husband and I were married in July of 1999. I stayed home and help raise two wonderful girls, but then returned to the business world and owned BLUSHING BRIDE ON 17 for nearly 10 years. I decided to come out of pageant retirement and was very honored to win the Mrs. Indiana America title in 2000. I was given the chance to compete at the Mrs. America pageant in Hawaii in September of 2000 and arrived "proudly" as the oldest contestant that year at the age of 42! I had so many wonderful experiences as Mrs. Indiana, and I have always encourage other women to take a chance and enter their state pageant.

The Mrs. & Miss INDIANA & MICHIGAN America staff and I are working very hard to make sure that each state pageant is successful in every way. I am proud to have brought home my 1st Mrs. America in 2018 - Mekayla Eppers and in 2021 we brought home the title of Mrs. America to Michigan- Jackie Blankenship for the 1st time!!... then in 2022 I was awarded Director of the Year! We welcome married women 21 and older and Miss contestants, 18 and older, to follow their dream and have a chance to become the next Mrs. Michigan or Miss Michigan for America, and possibly Miss for America, Mrs. America and EVEN Mrs. World!
Thank you for showing interest in this amazing organization that prides itself on helping women connect to their communities and reignite that fire from within themselves. My staff and I hope to see you at one of our state pageants very soon!
